Authenticated service interruption via EditvsList stack overflow
Published Apr 7, 2023 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Stack overflow in H3C Magic R100 firmware V100R005 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via EditvsList. The /goform/aspForm handler fails to bound a crafted EditvsList value before storing it in stack memory, causing an out-of-bounds write. Administrative privileges are required, and the documented consequence is limited to service interruption without reported data disclosure or modification.
