Hard-coded key use in IXP Data EasyInstall 6.6.14884.0 allows local users to recover credentials and gain administrative privileges. IxpScrambler in the IXP.MDM.Shared namespace of IXPADM64A.DLL base64-encodes sensitive values and XORs them with a hard-coded multibyte array. Local access to an encoded value is required; reversing the operation exposes agent credentials that permit administrative access.
