Untrusted search path handling in the installer for Wondershare PDFelement 9.1.1 allows local users to execute arbitrary commands. The pdfelement-pro_setup_full5239.exe installer resolves an undisclosed dependency through an unsafe search path; the public report does not identify the dependency or searched directory. Exploitation requires user interaction on Windows and runs attacker-supplied code with the privileges of the installer process.
