Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via insufficient filtering
Published Apr 17, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
SQL injection in DedeCMS 5.7.106 allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to execute arbitrary database queries. The /dede/sys_sql_query.php component passes the submitted sqlquery value to SetQuery or ExecuteNoneQuery after blocking only DROP TABLE and DROP DATABASE statements. Administrative backend access and a valid CSRF token are required; successful queries can read or modify database data and write a web shell when database permissions allow it.
