Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked request parameter

A stack overflow in D-Link DIR-878 firmware 1.30B08 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or crash the router via a request. The sub_498308 function passes a user-provided parameter into a stack buffer without checking its length, so crafted overflow data overwrites adjacent memory. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can fully compromise the router or interrupt its service.
