Authenticated SQL injection via crafted column name
Published May 17, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Exam System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries through a crafted column name. The /jurusanmatkul/data handler uses attacker-controlled columns[1][data] as SQL query material without neutralizing SQL syntax; no public record names the responsible function. A valid application session and no user interaction are required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a database-controlled time delay rather than extracted records.
