Database modification via interpolated service ID
Published May 17, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Service Provider Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter its database via a crafted service ID. The delete_service function in /classes/Master.php extracts the POST body and interpolates id directly into a DELETE query without parameter binding. Management-site access is required; crafted SQL can modify data or produce error- and timing-based disclosure within the application's database privileges.
