Browser script execution via unencoded name parameter
Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Auto Dealer Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser via the name setting. The update_settings action in classes/SystemSettings.php accepts the name parameter as display content without neutralizing script markup before browser interpretation. A victim must load the affected content; the resulting script can read or modify data available to that victim's application session.
