CVE-2023-27649Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Denial of service via search history injection

Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 10, 2025

SQL injection in Trusted Tools Free Music versions 1.8.2.43 through 2.1.0.47 allows remote attackers to cause denial of service via the search history table. An exported Android content provider at content://freemusic.download.musicplayer.mp3player.data/searchhistory accepts arbitrary search-history inserts from an unauthorized application without input validation, allowing persistent data growth and interface hijacking. Exploitation requires a malicious application on the Android device; accumulated records can make the search function unusable and restarting the app does not clear the stored data.
