CVE-2023-27648Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Dex code execution via crafted resource path

Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 10, 2025

Path traversal in Change Color of Keypad 1.275.1.277 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted resource path. The Android broadcast receiver accepts an untrusted ZIP path, but the public report omits the code path that escapes directory boundaries and loads the dex file. A separate Android application must deliver the crafted broadcast, and successful exploitation runs supplied code on the device.
