CVE-2023-27640Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked font path

Published Jun 1, 2023 · Updated Jan 8, 2025

Path traversal in Custom Product Designer 2.1.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through fonts.php. The endpoint incorporates the attacker-controlled type parameter into a file path without enforcing extension or canonical-directory restrictions, then returns the selected file as base64. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposed module instances can disclose source code, configuration secrets, logs, or exports.
