CVE-2023-27616Network attack vector

Unauthenticated stored XSS via RSVP email input

Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Stored cross-site scripting in David F. Carr RSVPMaker 10.6.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through RSVP email input. The RSVP submission path stores the email parameter without sufficient input sanitization and later renders it without adequate output escaping. No authentication is required to plant the payload, but a user must open the affected page for the stored script to execute in that user's browser.
