Unauthorized settings changes via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 6, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in WP Super Minify 1.5.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings by inducing an administrator to submit a forged request. The wpsmy_admin_options function accepts settings updates without correctly validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content, and the documented consequence is unauthorized settings changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
