CVE-2023-2760Network attack vector

Database read and limited write via SQL injection

Published Jul 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024

SQL injection in TapHome Core before 2023.2 allows remote authenticated users to read database contents through crafted device-property updates. HandleMessageUpdateDevicePropertiesRequest incorporates attacker-controlled SQL directives into a database query without neutralizing them, causing execution of injected commands. Low-privileged access is required; reported consequences are full read access, limited write access, and temporary service interruption.
