Authenticated subresult disclosure via missing ownership filter
Published Mar 7, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025
Improper access control in Feedbacksystem before 1.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' submission subresults. The subresults endpoint passed only configuration and submission identifiers to listResultsWithTasks, whose SQL query omitted a join to user_task_submission and any caller user-ID filter. Any logged-in account can request another submission's subresults, although the returned data cannot be associated with a specific user.
