Forced privileged actions via cross-site requests
Published Nov 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in LWS Tools 2.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to force unwanted actions through a logged-in administrator. Neither Patchstack nor the plugin changelog identifies the affected request handler or the missing request-integrity validation. Exploitation requires an authenticated privileged user to visit a crafted page or submit a malicious form; published impact is limited to low-integrity changes and a low-availability effect.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
