Settings modification via missing plugin_menu nonce validation
Published Nov 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in gl_SPICE New Adman 1.6.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings through forged requests. The plugin_menu function processes settings-changing requests without valid nonce verification, permitting attacker-supplied changes under an administrator's session. An authenticated administrator must be induced to submit the request; successful exploitation changes settings and can interrupt site behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
