Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Arbitrary file write in affected Foxit PDF Reader and PDF Editor releases allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious PDF. The exportXFAData JavaScript method fails to validate its cPath argument, allowing an HTA file to be written into the Windows Startup folder.
