CVE-2023-27353

Sensitive information disclosure via out-of-bounds read

Published Apr 20, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in the msprox endpoint of Sonos One 70.3-35220 allows network-adjacent attackers to disclose sensitive information. The endpoint does not validate user-supplied data before a buffer read, causing the read to continue beyond the allocated boundary. No authentication is required; the direct effect is disclosure, which can support a separate vulnerability chain that executes code as root.
