Code execution via PDF parser buffer overwrite
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in PDF-XChange Editor 9.4.364.0 allows remote attackers to execute code by convincing a user to open a crafted PDF. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file and runs code in the current process.
