Account takeover via unverified coupon user ID
Published May 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authentication bypass in FluxBuilder MStore API 3.9.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to log in as any existing user via a REST request. The coupon redemption handler accepts a supplied user ID without sufficiently verifying that the requester controls that account. No authentication is required; knowledge of an administrator's user ID grants that account's WordPress privileges.
