Resource consumption in affected NetApp ONTAP 9 releases allows remote attackers to crash the HTTP service with unauthenticated requests. NetApp identifies uncontrolled resource consumption in the HTTP service but has not disclosed the request path, parser, input characteristic, or exhausted resource. No credentials or user interaction are required, and the documented impact is limited to interruption of the HTTP service rather than the full storage system.
