CVE-2023-27285

Arbitrary code execution via buffer overflow

Published Jun 4, 2023 · Updated Jan 8, 2025

Buffer overflow in IBM Aspera Connect and Cargo 4.2.5 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through malformed input. IBM has not disclosed the affected component, input format, or bounds-checking operation that permits data to overrun a memory buffer.
