Unauthenticated code execution via exposed P4 service
Published Apr 11, 2023 · Updated Feb 7, 2025
Code injection in SAP Diagnostics Agent 720 allows remote attackers to execute scripts on connected agent hosts through the OSCommand Bridge. The SmdOsCmdBridge P4 service accepts OS-command requests without authenticating callers or preventing injected code. Reachability requires network access to the Solution Manager P4 port and deep system knowledge; successful commands can compromise data and operation across connected agents.
