Authenticated code execution via PHTML extension bypass
Published Mar 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Arbitrary file upload in Jizhicms 2.4.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute code by uploading a crafted PHTML file. CommonController.php validates upload suffixes against blacklists and whitelists, but its blacklist omits phtml and therefore accepts executable server-side files. Administrator access to the management interface is required; a successful upload returns the stored path and enables execution with the web server's privileges.
