Authorization bypass in PAX Technology A930 PayDroid 7.1.1_Virgo_V04.5.02_20220722 allows local users to gain root access. The dynamic loader honors LD_PRELOAD for attacker-controlled shared libraries, enabling replacement of exported authorization functions or forced invocation of privileged exports. Shell access to the physical terminal is required; successful exploitation grants root execution on the payment device.
