CVE-2023-27191Public exploit

Persistent application crash via unbounded SharedPreferences insertion

Published Apr 11, 2023 · Updated Feb 11, 2025

Denial of service in DUALSPACE Super Security 2.3.7 allows attackers to prevent the Android app from launching via SharedPreferences. The com.ludashi.security.SharedPrefProvider accepts repeated insert operations that persist attacker-controlled keys and values without a resource limit. A malicious app on the same Android device can fill the preferences until startup exhausts memory, causing a persistent crash after every restart.
