CVE-2023-2719Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Subscriber-level SQL injection via unescaped agent ID

Published Jun 19, 2023 · Updated Dec 12, 2024

SQL injection in SupportCandy before 3.1.7 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through the agents REST API. The endpoint inserts the Agent id parameter into an SQL statement without adequate sanitization or escaping, and a public proof of concept uses a conditional SLEEP expression to create a time-delay oracle. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and successful injection can read or modify data or interrupt database-backed service operations.
