SSRF via basket URL forwarding
Published Mar 31, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Server-Side Request Forgery in request-baskets through 1.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to access internal network resources via crafted API requests. The /api/baskets/{name} endpoint forwards attacker-controlled basket URL settings into server-side outbound requests without restricting destinations. High-privilege access is required and no user interaction is needed; internal services and sensitive responses can be exposed.
