Internal network access via unrestricted openAPIUrl fetch
Published Mar 31, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
SSRF in OpenAPI Generator 6.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to access internal network resources through crafted API requests. The unauthenticated client and server generation endpoints accept an openAPIUrl value and fetch that attacker-chosen URL without restricting its destination. Reachability requires an exposed online generator API; exploitation discloses sensitive information and makes the service interact with otherwise inaccessible network resources.
