Credential theft via unsanitized cronString reflection
Published Oct 4, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Reflected XSS in Pleasant Solutions Pleasant Password Server 7.11.41.0 allows remote attackers to run scripts via a crafted cronString. The unauthenticated /framework/cron/action/humanize endpoint reflects the cronString value into its response without sufficient character sanitization. A logged-in user must open the crafted URL; the resulting script can use that session to read and exfiltrate stored credentials.
