Privilege escalation via missing IndexController role check
Published Mar 8, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Improper authorization in feiqu-opensource allows remote authenticated users with demo privileges to perform administrator operations. IndexController.java accepts a low-privilege demo session for administrator-only actions without enforcing the user's role. Demo access is required, and successful exploitation permits arbitrary changes to the system's blacklist IP configuration.
