Authenticated code execution via dangerous file upload
Published Jun 22, 2023 · Updated Dec 6, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Pluck CMS 4.7.15 through 4.7.16-dev5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary server code. The /admin.php manage-files path accepts a dangerous executable upload and places it where the web server can process it as code. Administrator access to the CMS is required, and successful exploitation executes code with the web server process's privileges.
