Account modification via unvalidated cross-origin POST request
Published Mar 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
CSRF in Projectworlds Online Food Ordering System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter user details and credentials via a crafted POST request. The routers/details-router.php endpoint accepts cross-origin profile fields for a state-changing update without validating a request-specific CSRF token. A signed-in user must open the attacker-controlled page, after which the forged submission changes that victim's username, email address, password, phone number, and address.
