Stored XSS via unescaped Translation settings
Published Nov 27, 2023 · Updated Jun 5, 2025
Stored XSS in WpCrunch gAppointments 1.9.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The Translations settings accept HTML event-handler payloads without sanitizing stored values or escaping them when the page renders. Administrator privileges are required to save the payload, and execution requires a user to reload the affected settings page; the issue persists when unfiltered_html is disabled.
