CVE-2023-27033Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated PHP code execution via extension bypass

Published Apr 7, 2023 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in PrestaShop Cdesigner 3.1.3 through 3.2.1 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code via crafted images. CdesignerSaverotateModuleFrontController::initContent() uses a blocked-substring test, then decodes and writes untrusted image data with attacker-chosen .phpX extensions. Exploitation requires a server configured to execute those extensions; affected setups permit administrative access and data theft or deletion.
