Account takeover via user-controlled password-reset identifier

Authorization bypass in Peppermint 0.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to reset another user's password through a crafted request. The password-reset endpoint accepts a client-supplied user ID and changes that account's password without verifying that the authenticated user owns it. A low-privileged account can target an administrator ID and then authenticate as that administrator.
