Payment software bypass via boot-time race

Race condition in PAX Technology A920Pro PayDroid 8.1 allows local users to bypass payment software during device startup. The public record does not identify the boot component or shared resource said to be handled without synchronization when Android loads directly. PAX Technology disputes feasibility, stating that the home launcher loads before user applications, so the claimed bypass cannot occur.
