SQL injection via columns data parameter
Published May 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Exam System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries via the columns[1][data] POST parameter. The /matkul/data POST Parameter Handler incorporates the attacker-controlled data value into SQL without effective parameterization or neutralization. Remote reachability is sufficient and the resulting query manipulation can read or modify database-backed exam information; the published record does not establish a more specific privilege gate.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
No CVSS assessment is available in this record.
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
