Script execution via unescaped new_movie.php input
Published Mar 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in EVOLUCARE ECSIMAGING before 6.21.5 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via new_movie.php. The new_movie.php endpoint reflects crafted request input into generated HTML without sufficient output neutralization. Exploitation requires a user to open an attacker-controlled URL, after which script runs in the ECSIMAGING origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
