Database commands via injectable item identifier
Published Mar 19, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
SQL injection in Alphaware - Simple E-Commerce System 1.0 allows remote attackers to issue database commands via a crafted id parameter. The /alphaware/details.php endpoint treats the attacker-controlled GET id value as SQL rather than only as an item identifier. Access to the public details endpoint is sufficient to query the current database and issue further database instructions.
