Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jun 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in SoftExpert Excellence Suite 2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a PHP file. The form/efms_exec_html/file_upload_parser.php endpoint accepts an executable .php payload and stores it in a web-reachable temporary path without blocking its dangerous type. A valid se-authentication-token is required; requesting the stored file causes the server's PHP runtime to execute the uploaded code.
