Unauthenticated database manipulation via unescaped reference
Published Apr 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Blind SQL injection in the bdroppy module for PrestaShop before 2.2.28 allows remote attackers to manipulate the database through a crafted reference. BdroppyCronModuleFrontController::importProducts concatenates the GET or POST reference value into a DbQuery WHERE clause without pSQL escaping. The cron front controller accepts unauthenticated HTTP requests, enabling data disclosure, database modification or deletion, and administrative access.
