Unauthenticated command execution via unchecked MAC field
Published Mar 26, 2023 · Updated May 5, 2025
Command injection in four LB-LINK router firmware releases allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted HTTP request. The bs_SetLimitCli_info function in /lib/libshare-0.0.26.so concatenates the mac field into a formatted string passed to bl_do_system; time1 and time2 must both equal 00:00-00:00. No prior authentication is required on BL-AC1900_2.0 1.0.1, BL-WR9000 2.4.9, BL-X26 1.2.5, and BL-LTE300 1.0.8, enabling full device compromise.
