CVE-2023-2676Public exploit

Service interruption via unchecked go parameter copy

Published May 12, 2023 · Updated Jan 24, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in H3C Magic R160 V1004004 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a crafted go parameter. The aspForm handler copies the go parameter through an intermediate value into goHtmlUrl without checking its length, overflowing a stack buffer. Access to the adjacent network and authenticated management interface is required; the published proof of concept reports service denial and root-level code execution.
