Administrator-session script execution via stored inquiry fields
Published May 12, 2023 · Updated Nov 22, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Lost and Found Information System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The save_inquiry path accepts and stores crafted inquiry fields, and the administrative inquiry view renders the stored content as active markup. No visitor account is required to submit the payload, but an authenticated administrator must open the saved inquiry; script then runs in that management session.
