CVE-2023-26690Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload

Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Sep 24, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.16.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through File Manager. The elFinder connector's extension restrictions permit dangerous .phar, .html, and .svg payloads and store them in a web-accessible directory. A vendor or administrator session with File Manager access is required; successful exploitation enables server-side code execution or stored browser script execution.
