Browser code execution via unsanitized product_data
Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Cross-site scripting in CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.16.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser code through product_data. The add/edit-product administration workflow accepts product_data content without neutralizing executable markup before rendering it. A product-management account and later user interaction are required, limiting impact to code execution in the viewer's browser context.
