File disclosure via PDF processor JavaScript execution
Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Path traversal in CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.16.1 allows remote authenticated users to read PDF processor files through the PDF add-on. The processor renders product_data[product] as HTML and executes embedded JavaScript, allowing a file URI request to place local file contents in an invoice. Product editing requires vendor or administrator access; the referenced proof of concept also documents an unauthenticated PDF cloud API route.
