Divide-by-zero in Xpdf 4.04 allows attackers to crash a local processing instance by supplying a malformed PDF file. A malformed color space object reaches an arithmetic operation with a zero divisor; the vendor has not published the affected function or field calculation. Exploitation requires local processing of the file and interrupts the affected Xpdf process, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
